The teenager was riding his Kawasaki motorcycle in Fore Street, Bugle on Saturday at about 1920 BST when he was in collision with a Peugeot.

The motorcyclist, from the Bugle area, is being treated at the Royal Cornwall Hospital for serious head injuries.

The 26-year-old car driver, also a local man, was not injured. Police are appealing for witnesses.
