The Bath and West Showground provides
the curtain raiser to a season of
classic exhibitions. The Bristol
Classic Motorcycle Show is almost as
old as the
International though and, despite the
name, is held near Shepton Mallet
rather than in the Bristol Dockland
Warehouse where it originated.
Naturally given the time of year most
of the action happens inside and well
away from any possibility of snow and
wet. Attendance grows each year, with
plenty of room to expand, with more
than 18,000 people descending on the
halls each year.

It’s the biggest bike show in London and the South East -
A magnificent line up of the world’s top manufacturers, with bikes from
BMW, Ducati, Kawasaki, Triumph, Victory, Aprillia, Moto Guzzi,
Piaggio, Derbi, Gilera, Vespa, Yamaha (represented by George White) and
the much-anticipated Honda (represented by Motoden and HGB
Motorcycles ) and Harley-Davidson, who were greatly missed by visitors
at the Birmingham NEC Motorcycle Show in November 2009.

The annual Weston Beach Race extravaganza, which takes place this
year on the 10th and 11th October at Weston-super-Mare, is expected to
be another super fun-filled event.
Entries for all of the races will be opened by the event organiser,
RHL Activities, on March 9th 2009. All forms and information will be
available to download from this website. Camping, media and marshal
forms will also be available for download on this date.
Advance
tickets and entries will receive discounts, so make sure you get your
order in early to take advantage of these savings - the Weston Beach
Race ticket hotline will also open on March 9th 2009.

A mystery run, only 3 people know the route but I can tell you it is
approximately 50 miles. The route will suite small and larger bikes alike. There
will be tea and coffee available at a moderate price from 10am. Plus there will
be a stop for breakfast, or tea or coffee.
This run is in aid of BARB (rescue
hovercraft, Burnham On Sea) We are asking for a donation to this worthy cause of
£5 per person.
Meet at the Bristol Bridge Inn. Highbridge on the A38. From
9:30 0nwards.

George Whites Bodmin will be staying open on Wednesday the 23rd
of September untill 8 o clock for all of you bike enthusiasts that cant come in
on the weekend and on normal working hours. We have a range of 1 Piece suits, 2
Piece suits, Boots, Gloves, Helmets, Accessories, Womans clothing and all sorts
of luggage and cleaning equipment. The shop is situated on the A30 on your way
into Bodmin just before the ASDA wallmart.
If we get a good response to
this we will then open up late alot more for everyone and perhaps start bike
meets on a weekly basis. Hope to see you here!

A Charity Ride Out in aid of BARB (rescue Hovercraft in Burnham On
Sea.)
Meet at the Bristol Bridge Inn, on the A38 in Highbridge at 10am to
leave at 11am. Donations of £5 per person.
The run will go to Lyme Regis and
back to the hovercraft station in Burnham On Sea.
